In contrast to the crusty shoeless westerners hanging about and strolling down cow dung laden streets were some really amazing local people who truly belong here .

I followed Dee’s link on Facebook and am chuffed to see what an incredible time you, Eric and the chizzlers are having. Love your blog, photos and energy and am Jealous! Myself and Al have been to a few of your destinations (pre children) and was lovely to be reminded of our trips to India and Thailand (particularly Udaipur). Nothing like being served and ice cold beer from a Teapot.
Enjoy every minute with the ups and the downs and I admire your drive and spirit so much.
My Aunt and Uncle did something similar around South Africa and NZ with a boat over two years in the early 1970’s and my two cousins grew up to embrace the world and know no bounds in life.
Axel and Elka may not know now what a gift you’ve given them but they will.
See you back in ‘The Hide’........ unless we’ve made a break for the big wide yonder.
Keep having fun and keep safe, Aoibhinn x
