Arriving into Sydney was as close to coming home as we have had so far except that the Sydney suburbs are more like Dalkey then Donaghmeade . It was a holiday in itself being able to see all the signs in English and understand everybody with ease . Squawking flocks of brightly coloured parrots flew everywhere and herons were two to a dozen in the parks . Super public barbecues and amenities were stationed at regular intervals and everything was clean . A tour around the harbour by ferry was a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours before we headed for one of the great pubs that serve fantasic food with every pint .We can see why so many Irish people want to come here !
